Catholic Charities Appeal

St. Clare of Assisi is the patron saint of the 2018 Catholic Charities of Buffalo Appeal. St. Clare professed that “we are to become the vessels of God’s compassionate love for others.”

Catholic Charities shows that same compassion and love by offering individual, children and family counseling and mental health and chemical dependency treatment through its Family and Community Service sites, Monsignor Carr Clinics, Marriage Counseling Center and Diocesan Counseling Center. Your gift to the Appeal helps Catholic Charities to continue these – and a wide range of other services – throughout Western New York. In Lancaster alone, more than 400 individuals and family members, including 162 children, were served by Catholic Charities in 2017.

Bishop Richard J. Malone has announced this year’s campaign goal of $11 million. St. Mary’s goal as a parish is to contribute a total of $96,937.71. As of March 15, $67,758 had been raised.
