Eucharistic Adoration

Eucharistic Adoration is a dedicated time when the Eucharist – the Blessed Sacrament – is displayed on the altar in a special vessel called the Monstrance. This allows people to “keep watch” with Jesus for specified periods of time. Traditionally, the time is one hour, but shorter visits also are acceptable.

Eucharistic Adoration takes place at St. Mary’s every First Friday after the 12 noon Mass, with Benediction and Reposition starting at 4:40 p.m. and the service ending at 5 p.m. Prayers for the Gift of all Life are offered from 2 to 3 p.m.

Individuals are needed to cover time slots from 12:30 to 5 p.m. Please call the Rectory at (716) 683-6445.
