Social Justice Ministry

The St.  Mary’s Social Justice Ministry seeks to provide information and resources to further the mission of social justice in the local community and around the world. This group offers resources and activities for parishioners to stay active in the important social issues of the day.

Each year, members of the Social Justice Ministry participate at a local site for Habitat for Humanity, helping to build or renovate a home for an area family in need. This year, signups will take place in early August, for an early September date. The parish is limited to 10 volunteers. To volunteer for Habitat, you must be aged 16 or older, with adult supervision required for those aged 16 and 17. The date and location of the St. Mary’s 2017 site will be announced in the near future. A signup sheet with information will be posted in Church.
